Larry Dean Cunningham, 64, of Brownstown, IL, passed away on February 26, 2013 surrounded by his family at home.

Services for Mr. Cunningham will be held at 10:30am, Saturday, March 2, 2013 at St. Elmo Christian Church, St. Elmo, IL with Pastor Tom Fedrigon officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Christian Church Cemetery, Sefton Twp. Brownstown, IL.  A visitation will be held from 6-8pm, Friday, March 1, 2013 at Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL and 1 hour prior to services Saturday at the church.  Memorials may be made to Crossroad Cancer Center, Fayette County Healthcare Hospice, or donor's choice.

Larry was born February 25, 1949 in Vandalia, IL, the son of John Edward and Minnie Virginia (Depew) Cunningham.  He married Linda Rose Brazle on September 3, 1988 at Liberty Christian Church, Sefton Twp, Brownstown, IL.  Larry was a member of St. Elmo Christian Church, and he was a retired truck driver.  He enjoyed spending time at The Chuckwagon Café drinking coffee and visiting with others at the local table.

He is survived by his wife Linda; son John Edward Cunningham and wife Cathy; step daughters Rhonda and husband Jerry Rhodes and Lori and husband Carl Portz; grandchildren Katelyn Cunningham, Dustin Rhodes and wife Kristin, Jacob Rhodes and wife Tasha, Elizabeth and husband Jonathon Rodgers, and Thaddeus Portz; sister Hazel and husband Steve Hurt; Brothers Burt Cunningham and wife Patty and Mike Cunningham; half brother Jerry Brown and wife Juanita; aunts Mary and husband Dean Pryor; Lois and husband Roger Frailey; and nieces and nephews.
