as a growing boy i bought a lot of parts and mowers from bill. he always had me watch him repair engines and taught me a lot about how to fix them properly. he inspired me to become a mechanic for which i am forever grateful . RIP Bill
Dear Billye, Bobbie and Connie, So sorry I never made it to your father visitation or Funeral. I will truely miss seeing him and him always saying HI Cous! I think he was my mothers last cousin on the Guffey side. I have known him all my life and always enjoyed talking with him. He was always so fun loving and happy. Girls I will truelly miss him, Old Bluff City will never be the same.

Bill was always quick to show the joy of the Lord and do his best to give God Glory by talking about Jesus. I have known him for over 40 years and our main conversations were always about our Jesus. I was nabors with bill he would ride by on his mower and hover around and yell looking good when me and my wife lindsay Nickels was outside. And everytime I would go by on my harley he would want me to rev up the motor! He will be missed by many people.
Bill was a rose among thorns. I jokingly said that to him years ago, but in my heart was thankful for him and the kindness and compassion he extended to my family at a tragic time in our lives. He touched a lot of people with his humor and his heart. Godspeed, Bill. 🌹
Bill will be missed..I dont know who will come around the block every day and stop and say "i Love You!" Last summer even at the age of 91 he was going around the block on his hover round with Lulubelle on his lap or in a wagon.. my sympathy to all family and friends ..He will be missed and thought of with fond memories!

We spent many hours in the Opry, me teaching you new songs and chords. Some times till 2 in the morning. Many trips to go play music. Many Sat nites at the Opry.. I lived in your home.
