I had the privilege of teaching with Mr. Cox for many years. He was a very smart man and obviously loved teaching. He had a lot of integrity and was admired by all who knew him. My sincere sympathy for all of his loved one at this difficult time.

I am one of Rick's younger brothers and it is heartwarming to read the positive tributes from some of Rick's students and their parents. At a time like this it is uplifting to hear that during his life, Rick made a positive lasting contribution and will be remembered favorably by many.
My memories of my brother are also very special and include everything from Rick being the quarterback in our backyard family football games - to - Rick patiently teaching me the route and collection procedures for the paper route I inherited from him at an early age - to - Rick being an upperclassman who kept a protective eye on me and gently kept me in line when needed.
Our whole family is very proud of Rick and the life he lived. Rick will be missed and lovingly remembered forever.

Cousins always share a bond even though we haven't seen each other for a very long time. Rick was born 3 weeks before I was and was the 2nd born like I was. Wish we could have lived closer and gotten to know each other and our families better. Our deepest sympathy is extended to you, Jane and your family.
Mr. Cox taught with my father and was my teacher. He was a strict, but nice teacher. He gave us all some good memories! He was a very dedicated person. May God comfort all of the family in this time. My sincere condolences....
Mr.Cox taught all five of us Beckmeier siblings. He was the one of the best teachers at PHS. I believe that he was the most respected teacher at PHS.
