I am so sorry to her of Ruth’s passing. I first met her when she worked the state finals and was there when she received the Official of the Year award. She was such a nice person. Prayers for her family.

Ruth was a volleyball official friend and fellow quilter. We shared many happy conversations at Redbird Arena about our children and piecing fabric and had more serious discussions about volleyball situations and rule interpretations. As each November passes, I’m going to miss my State Tournament buddy.
Ruth inspired me to be creative. With great patience she taught her craft. I am so blessed to have known her. Prayers for peace for the family.

Ruth was so amazing at helping us each and every week. So loyal and if she was going to be refereeing she would let us know a week ahead of time. I am so blessed that I got to know her the last couple of years.. I can not express how much I will miss her. Hugs and much love to you all. We are still in shock.
I’ve only known Ruth for a little over a year, what a wonderful person, great inspiration to all. She will definitely be missed by many quilters. Rest In peace lovely lady
