Brenda Kay Smart, 57, of Vandalia, IL, formerly of Cleveland, OH passed away at 3:30 PM, Sunday, March 28, 2021 at her home. Per Brenda’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Online condolences can be expressed at www.hohltandfilefh.com Brenda Kay was born along with her twin sister, Linda on February 09, 1964 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of William Earl and Joanne Mildred (Smart) Casey. While still in infancy, her parents preceded in death and her and her siblings were raised by uncle, Luther Smart and wife, Joyce. She is survived by her children, Tyler and Casey; grandchildren; and siblings, Mary Roberts, Kenneth Casey, and Pat Casey. She was preceded in death by her parents; adoptive parents; twin sister, Linda Smart and several other siblings.
