Cheryl Ann Tedrick, 65, of Vandalia, IL passed away at 6:40 PM, Monday, November 01, 2021 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 05, 2021 at Crown Point Church, rural Vandalia with Rev. Pete LeDuc officiating. Interment will follow at Farmer’s Cemetery, Shobonier. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services from 10:00-11:00 AM, Friday, November 05, at the church. Memorials may be made to Hohlt & File Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses. Online condolences can be expressed at www.hohltandfilefh.com Cheryl Ann was born on July 02, 1956 in Litchfield, IL, the daughter of Floyd Emmanuel and Betty Jean (Robertson) Hicks. She married Edward “Brian” Tedrick on January 09, 1987; together they celebrated nearly 35 years of marriage. Cheryl was a former Certified Nursing Assistant; throughout the years, she was employed by Cherry Wood, FAYCO, and Fayette County Hospital. She enjoyed playing BINGO and her computer games, going out to have coffee with her sister and friends, and most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren; taking pictures of the many memories. Cheryl was also affiliated with Crown Point Church, where she and her family attended. Mrs. Tedrick is survived by her husband, Brian Tedrick of Vandalia; son, Brian Justin “BJ” Tedrick and Katlyn and son, Jeffrey Tedrick, both of Vandalia; daughters, Vanessa Tedrick and TJ of Greenville, Becky Hicks-Tedrick and Bruce of Vandalia, Tiffany Tedrick and Jeffrey of Vandalia, Stephanie Tedrick-Rupert and husband Michael of Shobonier, and bonus daughter, Casey Taylor of Vandalia; brothers, Randy Hicks and special friend Patsy Tinker, Terry Hicks and wife Sherry, Michael Hicks and wife Cyndi, Howard Hicks and wife Ashley, Brian Robertson and wife Christy, and Floyd Hicks III; sisters, Mary McNealy, Tonya Hicks, Tina Bennish, Jennifer and husband Jason Hill, Michelle and husband Richard Temples and bonus sister, Sandra Morris; grandchildren, Jadalyn, Rory, Kimberly, Isaiah, Madyson, David, Mya, Dante, LaMarcus, Karli, Jeffrey, Kynleigh, Carson, Kyleigh, Kruz, and Chloe; and one great-grandson, Emmett. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Floyd Hicks Jr., Pat Hicks, and Timmy Joe Hicks; and sister, Alma Torbeck.
