DeDeann Hartley-Brown Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

DeDeann Hartley-Brown, 56, of Vandalia, passed away on January 17, 2022 at SBL Health Care Center in Mattoon, IL. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00PM, Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Northside Christian Church, Vandalia; a meal will be catered in the fellowship hall following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family of DeDeann Hartley-Brown. Online condolences can be expressed at www.hohltandfilefh.com DeDeann Hartley-Brown was born August 8, 1965, in Tooele, UT the daughter of Joseph Leonard Hartley and Sarah Jane (Till) Brown. She married Debra Terry on June 25, 2016 after meeting at work and forming a friendship. DeDe worked as the snack bar manager for Walmart before retiring. She loved spending quality time with her family and friends. She is survived by her wife of 5 years, Debra (Garrison) Terry of Vandalia; stepson, Franklin Terry III of Vandalia; step grandchildren, Jordyn Terry and Samuel Terry; brother, Joseph C. Hartley and wife Tracy of Caribou, Maine; aunt, Brenda and husband Felix Medina of Arizona; family friend, Aunt Sandy Ostler of Nevada; brothers-in-law, Mike Garrison and wife Susan of Mulberry Grove, Ed Garrison and wife Melinda of Vandalia, and Steve Garrison with Debbie Wallen of Vandalia; sister-in-law, Christy and husband Scott Wright of Vandalia; and several close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Leonard Hartley and Sarah Jane (Till) and husband Ronald Charles Brown.
