Flossie Condo

Flossie Condo, 84, of Vandalia, passed away on Tues. September 22, 2015 at Fayette County Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the First Church of God, Vandalia with visitation from 9:00-11:00am, prior to the service at the church.  Family burial will follow services in Union Cemetery, Altamont. Memorials may be made to the family of Flossie Condo or to the Donor's Choice.  Flossie was born July 14, 1931 in Monticello, KY, the daughter of Willy S. and Lilly Maude (Eller) Burton.  She married Kenneth Condo on January 18, 1954 in Corinth, MS, he preceded her in death May 14, 2000.  Flossie was a longtime resident of Vandalia working various jobs and was a member of the First Church of God. She is survived by her daughters Lilly Faye Condo and Sandra Condo of Vandalia; step daughters Patricia and husband Marvin Nichols of Vandalia, Judy and husband Gary Ehrat of Vandalia, Betty Barnes of Watson, and Carla Blaire of Altamont; brother Danny Burton of Alton; sister Mary and husband Chris Shimboff of Watson; 8 grandchildren; great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
