Fred L. Tessman, 72, of Vandalia, IL, passed away the morning of Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at his home. Per Fred’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM, Tuesday, June 04, 2024 at Hohlt Read Obituary
Fred was a staple to the community . I remember working for him at my first bartending job - He was a tough boss but treated me like family . He will be missed !! 🫶🏻🙏
I am so sorry to learn of Fred’s passing. I met Fred in kindergarten at Lincoln School and enjoyed our friendship throughout our years of school in Vandalia. Our paths didn’t cross too often after that but time melted away when we did see each other. Prayers for his family.

So sorry I didn’t know how to connect with you after you got out of the bar buisness. We were so close kids. I even got to fly to California when you were in the Marines. I have many memories. Hope we meet in the next life cuz.
