Sorry for your loss. Jack was well liked and respected. I considered him to be a good friend.
Will always remember growing up and working on Jack's farm as a teenager. It got me gas money while teaching me about hard work and doing a good job. will always remember and am grateful that I was made to feel a part of the family.
My thoughts and condolences to Betty, David and Troy.
Jack used to help me out by refereeing games at Effingham Junior High. He was always there early and always coached the kids as he refereed the game. I am in Texas or would definitely be at his service. Jack was always a gentleman and always took time to visit with you regardless of where he was or what he was doing.
Dave and Family: You are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Bette, Troy, and David... Jack was just a 'super' guy. I forget when I first met him. I'm sure it was a game where Carl was officiating. Anyway, Carl had to ref down at Pinkneyville. So Carl and I finally arrived there and I was hungry. So Jack graciously offered to show me where the kitchen was. He didnt leave me either. He stayed there with me. Another precious memory is the night after a game he wanted to show me his 'pride and joy'. Before he showed me he said it was a picture of Bette. Actually it was a picture of pride 'waxes furniture' and joy 'dishwashing liquid'!!!!!.. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES, JACK!!
Jack was a great man. I remember him from the Teutopolis girls basketball games. Thoughts and prayers sent to his family!
So sorry to hear this. Jack was always a positive influence on so many. I am sure he will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
