Ada Pauline Daniels' Obituary
Ada Pauline Daniels, 97, of Vandalia passed away at 12:12pm,
Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Fayette County Hospital Long Term
Care.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00pm, Wednesday, July 13,
2016 at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL with Rev. Robert Weaver
officiating. Memorials may be made to Unity Baptist Church or
Evans Public Library.
Pauline was born August 8, 1918 in Vandalia, the daughter of
William and Bessie (Bingham) Cowger. She married Kenneth
Daniels November 26, 1935; he preceded her in death November 4,
2005.
Pauline was a homemaker, raising her and Kenneth's four children
and was a member of Unity Baptist Church formerly First
Baptist Church of Vandalia.
She is survived by daughters Janet and husband Myrle Spires of
Carbondale and Kay and husband Derald Hulskotter of Vandalia; son
Alan Daniels and wife Judy of Houston, TX; grandchildren
Kathy and husband Scott Gehle, Randy Hulskotter and wife
Patty, David Hulskotter and wife Ludmia, Danny Kelly and wife Amy,
Todd Spires and wife Laura, Laurie and husband Jim Williams, Keith
Daniels, and Eric Daniels; 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter
Nancy and son-in-law Jim Kelly, brother Harold Cowger, and sister
Maxine Mason.
