Adeline Dauphin's Obituary
Adeline I Dauphin, 85, of Vandalia passed away at 6:55pm,
Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Vandalia Rehab and Healthcare
Center. A memorial service will be held
at 11:00am, Saturday, January 25, 2014 at
Emmanuel Methodist Church, Brownstown, IL. In loving memory of
Adeline memorials may be made to Emmanuel Methodist Church; as she
was a faithful member of Emmanuel Methodist Church or Donor's
Choice.
Adeline was born January 8, 1928 in Sefton Twp, Fayette County,
IL, the daughter of Ira and Adeline (Reeter) Engle. She was
married to John Dauphin and he preceded her in death. Adeline
retired from Brockway Plastics Co. as a foreman.
Adeline is survived by sisters Joan Skaar, Kay Traub, and
Marilyn Fleischauer, several nieces and nephews, and a host of
friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband,
brothers Berle Engle, Kenneth Engle, Ben Engle, and Jack Engle,
sisters Mary Stites and Madelyn Feezel.
