Alice Scott's Obituary
Alice H. Scott, 88 of Brownstown, died on January 15, 2015 in
St. Elmo.
Services will be held on Friday January 23, 2015 at Haley Chapel
in Bluff City. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with
funeral services conducted at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow
immediately at Griffith Cemetery in Brownstown and will be
conducted by Hohlt and File Funeral Home of Vandalia.  In lieu
of flowers, donations can be made to Haley Chapel church
inBluffCityorGriffithCemeteryin Brownstown.
A dinner will be served for immediate family only at 2:30 p.m.
at Haley Chapel.

She was born on July 12, 1926 to Charles Carroll and Rhetta
(Taylor) Carroll in Vandalia. 
She is survived by her son Donald Forbes and his wife Sharon of
Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Her grandson Michael Irving and his wife Cindy of Idaho Falls,
Idaho, her granddaughter Lynnett Orechovesky and her husband Todd
of Brownstown, her grandson Scott Devlin and his wife Cindy of San
Diego, California, her granddaughter Stacey Sanchez and her husband
Cirio of San Diego, California and her granddaughter Crystal Foster
and her husband Wyatt of Idaho Falls, Idaho.  Her great grand
children Nicholas Irving, Christopher Irving, Jacob Irving, Sierra
Orechovesky, Dakota Orechovesky, Shelby Orechovesky, Nicholas
Devlin, Quentin Devlin, Justin Sanchez, Chance Foster and Hildee
Foster.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and
cousins in the Vandalia and Brownstown areas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bobbie D.
Scott, her 9 brothers Claude, David, Paul, Raymond, Thomas, Robert,
Wilson, Berriman and Lloyd Carroll, her 2 sisters Maude and Dorothy
Carroll.
