Dear Friends,
I am sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I have such fond memories of your mother as I grew up. I always knew that I would be well cared for, fussed over, and well fed, when Mom would leave us with Ann.
Growing up, she, like all of those strong women, were like a second mother to all of us.
Ann and my dad are probably already laughing at each other, and I can hear her voice admonishing him with two words: "Oh, Erlin!"
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you,
Gayle Eakin
Dear Gary, Tim, and Family,
We are thinking of you and praying for you, Ann, and your families during this time of grief. Ann was a dear blessing to all of "us kids" as we grew up together. I remember her laugh and her smile as we played and as she and our mom and friends darned socks and delighted in each other's company. So much time spent supporting each other sharing both joys and sorrows.
I also remember the fun she had dancing with your dad during the Gang's get-togethers. My dad and she loved to joke and tease each other. I can hear her say, "Oh, Erlin!" in her teasing-exasperated way.
I'm so glad I got to visit with her and with you two summers ago in Vandalia at Tine's!
What a dear rich life your mom has had with friends, you "boys", and your families.
And what a welcome she now has with your dad, Ronnie, and all her friends and family who have gone before her. I'm sure they must have been waiting with eager abandon to show her the Path of Light to her new home.
While mom and dad were still in the hospital after their car wreck, mom was trying to explain to dad that she would soon be going home. Dad at the time didn't quite recognize mom, but called her the "prettiest woman I've ever seen". He let her know that he would also soon be going to his new home. He had seen it and described it to her as being a beautiful spacious house full of light --
Love to you and yours! Our prayers are with you in your grief and in Ann's Journey -- Sharon and Arlin

My thoughts and prayers to my Emerick family. What a wonderful lady grandma was. She always had a kind heart and was very accepting of me. I never forget her telling me she was happy that I was marrying A GOOD LUTHERAN BOY :) May god bless all of you and you find peace in his heart
To the friends and family of Mrs. Emerick,
When I read about Mrs. Emerick, I was really touched. I am so sorry for your loss. I too have loss many loved ones. Each loss is different and no one can tell you how you should feel during that loss. The memories that I shared with my loved ones has comforted me, but there was something even more that comforted me. Psalms 56:8 says, do put my tears in your skin bottle, are they not in your book? For me to know that each tear I cried did not go unnoticed was comforting. The second verse that comforted me is found at John 5:28, 29. It speaks of an earthly resurrection in which we can see our loved ones again. I long to hold and hug my loved ones and look forward to that day. May these promises comfort you as much as they have me. You and your family are in my prayers.
