Archie Bolyard's Obituary
Archie Lee Bolyard, 72, of Bluff City, passed away at 10:36am,
Friday, April 25, 2014 at his home.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am, Monday, April 28,
2014 at Griffith Cemetery in Brownstown, IL with Rev. Randy
Kirkland officiating. Friends may gather at the cemetery at 10:30am
prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the family of
Archie Bolyard.
Archie was born on December 31, 1941 in Vandalia, the son of
Archie and Cressie L. (Ritchey) Bolyard. He was a former
employee at John Deere Implement and a mechanic by trade, he also
enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by his son Gerald Bolyard of Bluff City, IL;
daughters Bridget Bolyard of Vandalia and Shelley and husband
Dwayne Scott of South Carolina; girlfriend Joyce Brown of Bluff
City, IL; sisters Wanda and husband Harold Hill; Edna and husband
Forrest Wrench; Norma and husband Ronnie Heather; Rosemary and
husband Randy Kirkland; Kathleen and husband Gary Lape; and Nancy
and husband Oran Davison; and 5 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brothers Charles
and Darrell; infant sister Betty; one grandchild.
