Arthur William "Art" Jones, 83, of Mulberry Grove passed away November 27, 2012 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham. Art's body per his request was donated to science. No services are being held at this time. Art Read Obituary
Mr. Jones was my American history teacher '66-'67. The entire year was a study of the Vietnam War. Also I recall "AW" mentioning he's read about the Amazon rain forest vanishing & the associated reduction of rain in the Midwest US; well here we are. Great teacher, wonderful person. I know that you do not know me, but I had your husband as a teacher my Freshman year of high school at Chrisman and my sisters both had him in school. He was a great teacher and Youth and Government and the History department was not the same after he left. I am sorry to hear of your loss, but I am glad that I got to know a great man like him.
