Barbara Nell Carron was born on November 03, 1937 in East St. Louis, IL, the daughter of Albert Joseph and Edith (Blais) Carron. After her father’s death she was raised by her mother and stepfather, Albert Wood. She married Roy Lee Reeves on December 31, 1986; together they celebrated nearly 37 years of marriage.
Barb was a former factory worker employed by Crane Packing. She retired in 1999 after 25 years of employment. She had an avid love for flower and vegetable gardening, cooking, and traveling. Many of her favorite memories were visiting family in Texas, Arizona, and Louisiana; she also traveled to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and took a special trip to Las Vegas with her daughter, Luana.
Her lifelong friends described her as friendly, happy, and kind. One of the many ways Barb showed her love for her family and friends was by hosting holiday feasts for them; she cherished the times spent with her family and friends.
