Barry Rine's Obituary
Barry L. Rine, 63, of Vandalia passed away at 3:24am, Thursday,
September 15, 2016 at home surrounded by his family.
Visitation for Barry Rine will be held from 4:00-6:00PM, Sunday,
September 18, 2016 at Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Vandalia; no
funeral service will be held at this time. Memorials may be
made to the family of Barry Rine.
Barry was born January 5, 1953, the son of William and Inez
(Hunter) Rine. He worked as a painter at Fayette County
Hospital in Vandalia and was a US Army Veteran.
He is survived by his children David Utley and wife Kristi of
Vandalia, Kevin Hughes and wife Sarah of Vandalia, Benji Rine and
wife Hattie of Vandalia, Wendy Rine and fiancé Pat Kershaw of
Vandalia, Chris Rine and wife Jessica of Brownstown;
grandchildren Hailey, Ashley, Taylor, Jamie, Chelsey, Skylar,
Kayleigh, Nathan, Matthew, Elizabeth, Amber, Breanna, Tevin,
Trinity, Natalie, Elijah, Hannah, Seth, Austin, and Stephanie; 7
great grandchildren; sister Carolyn "Sis" Dugan of Jasper, IN; and
brothers Larry Rine of Merrillville, IN and Melvin "Bub" Rine of
Vandalia.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Hughes Rine,
parents Bill and Inez Rine, brother Billy Dean Rine and 3 infant
siblings.
