Billy C. Philpot, 52, of Vandalia, passed away at 9:58pm,
Friday, June 21 in Woodlawn, Jefferson County, IL.
Services for Bill will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, June 26,
2013 at First Church of God, Vandalia, IL with Rev. Tom Farris and
Rev. Bruce Sasse officiating. Burial will follow in McInturff
Cemetery, Hagarstown, IL. Memorials may be made to Shriners
Hospital for Children or A.B.A.T.E. Toy Run - Shoal Creek
A.B.A.T.E. A visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Tuesday,
June 25, 2013 at First Church of God, Vandalia, IL and 1 hour prior
to services Wednesday at the church. Masonic Rites will be
performed at 7:30pm, Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at First Church of God,
Vandalia, IL by the Vandalia Masons Temperance Lodge #16 AF &
AM.
Bill was born August 28, 1960 in Vandalia, the son of Donald J.
and Betty L. (Fisher) Philpot. Bill was a Performance Manager
for Graham Packing Co. Vandalia. He was a member of the
Vandalia Old National Trail Shrine Club, A.B.A.T.E. Shoal Creek
Chapter, Vandalia Masons Temperance Lodge #16 AF & AM, and
Vandalia Moose Lodge #1447.
He is survived by his mother Betty Philpot of Vandalia; sister
LaDonna and husband Danny Younker of Ramsey and sister Melissa and
husband Kevin Elam of Vandalia; Gage Baxter of Quincy who was like
a son; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Donald Philpot and
brother Timothy J. Philpot.
