Though Brad was dedicated to farming, he cherished every chance he got to spend with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He will forever be remembered by his wife, Tricia Grandt of Shobonier; son, Charles Grandt and wife Amelia of Vandalia; daughters, Megan and husband Beau Beall of Vandalia, Heather Becker of Shobonier and Emily and husband Cody Logan of Patoka; sister, Patricia Emerick of Vandalia; grandchildren, Chase and Oliver Grandt, Jackson and Ezekiel Beall, and Bain, Bradley, and Clara Becker; nephews, Matthew Emerick and wife Kelly and Benji Emerick and wife Nikki; niece, Betsey Emerick; numerous extended family and friends; and his canine companion, Jane.
