Carla Riker's Obituary
Carla M. Riker, 54, of Vandalia passed away at 2:48pm,
Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at her parents' home in Vandalia, IL
surrounded by her family.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00am, Monday, August 25,
2014 at McInturff Cemetery, Hagarstown, IL, where friends and
family are welcome to meet.
Memorials may be made to the family of Carla Riker.
Carla was born February 12, 1960 in Phoenix, AZ, the daughter of
Carl "Stan" and Charlene (Parker) Forbes. She worked as an in
home health care provider and housekeeper. When she wasn't
working Carla enjoyed music and her granddaughter Kristyn, who was
her top priority.
Carla is survived by her parents Carl"Stan" and Charlene
(Parker) Forbes of Vandalia; son Curtis Clark of California;
daughters Crystal and husband Donnie Heiman and Renee Riker all of
Vandalia; sister Colleen and husband Larry Leitman of Tucson, AZ;
nephews Adam Leitman of Tucson, AZ and Charlie Forbes of
Vandalia; and her granddaughter Kristyn Heiman of Vandalia.
