Carol Eugene Moulton's Obituary
Carol Eugene Moulton, age 80, of Lawrenceburg, TN formerly of Vandalia passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at his residence.
A visitation and funeral service will be held Friday, June 21, 2019 at Neal Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg, TN. A second visitation will be held from noon until 2:00pm, Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:30pm, Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Fairlawn/South Hill Cemetery, Vandalia with military honors accorded by Crawford-Hale American Legion Post # 95, Vandalia, IL & Brownstown VFW Post #9770. Memorials may be made to Haley Chapel United Methodist Church.
Carol Eugene Moulton was born June 17, 1939, the son of Carl Moulton and Alberta [Wehrle] Scott. He was a retired pipefitter and truck driver, a member of Pipefitters Local 597 in Illinois, and Haley Chapel United Methodist Church in Bluff City, IL. Mr. Moulton served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Lucretia Ardella Moulton of Lawrenceburg, TN; daughters, Shawn Beier of Dwight, IL, Johnette (Eugene) Kramer of Kankakee, IL, Judy Haygood and Patty (Edwin) McNabb, both of Lawrenceburg, TN; son, Jerry (Julie) Swinson of Knoxville, TN; sisters, Jackie (John) Cooper, Linda Lawler, Sue Mey, Becky Hartman, Tonya (Matt) Langston; brothers, Jerry (Quita) Moulton and Joe (Cindy) Moulton; 23 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Terra Swinson, Gena Roberts, Kitty Matchette, Sandy Cothran; son, Tommy Swinson; sisters, Vicky Lynn Moulton and Jill Kluck; and brothers, Freddy Joe Moulton, Jerry Scott and Greg Moulton.
