Cecelia "Aileen" Tinker's Obituary
Cecelia "Aileen" Tinker, 82 of Vandalia passed away at 3:10am,
Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Vandalia Rehab and Healthcare
Center.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, March 13,
2014 at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia with Rev. Rhonda Nash
officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until
1:00pm, Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Hohlt & File Funeral Home
in Vandalia. Memorials may be made to the family and will be
applied towards the purchase of Aileen's headstone.
Aileen was born April 8, 1931 in Ramsey, IL, the daughter of
Cecil and Ellen (Blaylock) Sperry. She was a member of Agape
Word Fellowship and Eagles Lodge #3901; she retired from Crane
Packing in Vandalia.
Aileen is survived by her two sons Tracy Tinker and wife Paula
of Jasper, IN and Larry Tinker of Greenville, IL; her companion Joe
Willms of Vandalia; brothers Roger Sperry of Brownstown, IL
and Gary Sperry of Mackinaw, IL; grandchildren Tina Tinker,
Jody Tinker, Ben Hewitt and wife Stacey, Dustin Hewitt and wife
Amy, Brandon Hewitt and wife Krystle, and Michaela Tinker; and
great grandchildren Ana, Landon, Kiera, Evie, Willow, Autumn,
Alexa, Rynn, Kayli Ce, Averi, Blayden, Maddie, Jordan and
Bennie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Shirley Curry
and brother Maurice Sperry
