Charles "Charlie" Pryor's Obituary
Charlie Pryor, 71, of Shobonier, died Monday, February 13, 2012
at his family home.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Friday, February 17, 2012
at Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. A private family
burial will be held at a later date in Farmer's Cemetery,
Shobonier, IL.
Mr. Pryor was born January 27, 1941 in Brownstown, IL, the son
of Kenneth and Sara "Lena" (Jackson) Pryor. He was a self
employed mechanic.
He is survived by son Charlie Pryor and wife Becky of St. Peter,
daughters Stephanie Hoffman of Vandalia and Melissa Meyer of
Baldwin, MO; brothers Dean Pryor and wife Mary of Bluff City,
Robert "Bob" Pryor and wife Sparky of Centralia and Darrell Pryor
of Vandalia; sisters Shirley Flannagan and husband Robert of
Decatur, Jean Torbeck and husband Marvin of Odin, Carolyn Torbeck
and husband Jerry of Bluff City; Grandchildren Nichol Scott and
husband Sam, Kyle Berkemeyer, Jessica Pryor, Braiden Pryor, Meagan
Sigrist and husband Clint, Matthew Hoffman and Beth Cain and
husband Matt; Great Grandchildren Katelyn Scott, Laney Pryor, and
Greyson Cain..
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters and
brothers in law Patty Lash and her husband Junior, Ruth Bowen and
her husband Harold.
