Darrell Gipson's Obituary
Darrell R. Gipson, 78, of Vandalia, IL passed away at 9:35pm,
Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Evergreen nursing Home, Effingham,
IL.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30am, Tuesday, April 30,
2013 at Evans Cemetery, Vandalia, IL with Rev. Carl Rhodes
officiating. Memorials may be made to the family of Darrell
Gipson and will be received by the funeral home.
Darrell was born January 26, 1935 in Pana, IL, the son of
Frances J. and Mildred F. (Baker) Gipson. He was a machine
operator for Crane Packing.
Mr. Gipson is survived by his son Roger Gipson and wife Saundra
"Nikki" of Vandalia; daughters Christal Davis of Vandalia and Tanya
and husband David Hoffman of Vandalia; grandchildren Devon Abrams,
Dustin Abrams, Catti Hoffman, Brennen Hoffman, Kaven Hoffman, Jacob
Gipson, and Andrew Gipson all of Vandalia. He was preceded in
death by his parents, brother Virgal Gipson and sister Mavise
Galin.
