David Kistler's Obituary
David W. Kistler, 59, of Vandalia, passed away at 5:40pm,
Monday, November 11, 2013 at his home. Services for Mr.
Kistler will be held at 10:00am, Friday, November 15, 2013 at
Bethel Baptist Church rural Vandalia with Rev. Joe Lawson and Dr.
Mike Keppler officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm,
Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Bethel Baptist Church rural
Vandalia. Burial will follow the funeral service in Fairlawn
Cemetery, Vandalia. Memorials may be made to the family of
David Kistler.
David was born on August 15, 1954 in Vandalia, the son of Robert
and Beatrice (Boggs) Kistler. He married Brenda Keppler on
February 28, 1974 in Vandalia. David was a member of Vera
Baptist Church and had retired from VanSeal after 40
years.
He is survived by his wife Brenda of Vandalia; daughter Jennifer
Kistler of Vandalia; mother Beatrice Kistler of Vandalia; brothers
Bobby Kistler, Roger Kistler, and Shane Kistler all of California;
and sister Sandy Mayer of California.
He was preceded in death by his father and daughter Monica Dawn
Kistler.
