Deborah L. Troxell, 71, of Brownstown, IL, passed away on Monday, September 01, 2025 at La Bella of Edwardsville.
Per Deborah’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to an organization of the donor’s choice. Online condolences can be expressed at www.hohltandfilefh.com.
Deborah Lynn Hoover was born on September 11, 1953 in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of John and Joyce (Muma) Hoover. She married Jimmy Joe Troxell in 1972; together they celebrated 53 years of marriage.
Deborah spent many years working at Owen’s Brockway. Above all, she was a devoted wife and mother. She found joy in dining out, solving crossword puzzles, shopping, and gardening. Deborah treasured the moments spent with her family and friends.
Mrs. Troxell is survived by her husband Jim Troxell of Brownstown; son, Tyler Troxell of Brownstown; sister, Tina Jahn and husband Chris; nieces, Sierra, Casey, Hayley, and Shelby; extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gary Hoover.
