Deirdre "Dee Dee" Hartz's Obituary
Deirdre "Dee Dee" Hartz, 48, of Brownstown, died at 6:30 AM,
Monday, March 26, 2012 at Fayette County Hospital, Vandalia.
Services will be held at 7 PM, Friday, March 30, 2012 at St.
James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Vandalia with the Rev. Don
Klepzig officiating. Burial will be at 1 PM, Saturday, March 31,
2012 in Manlius Cemetery, Manlius, IL. Visitation will be
held from 4-7 PM, Friday, March 30, 2012 at St. James Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Vandalia.
Memorials: Dee Dee Hartz Memorial Scholarship at YMCA of Fayette
County.
Ms. Hartz was born April 28, 1963 in Sterling, IL, daughter of
Vernon Louis Harp Sr. and Florence Malinda (Parker) Harp.
She retired from the Family YMCA of Fayette County, and was a
member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She is survived by fiancé Ronnie Hagy of Brownstown; daughters
Courtney Younker, Miranda Velazquez, Candace Hartz, and Whitney
Hartz all of Vandalia, IL; brothers Vernon L. Harp Jr. and wife
Tammy of Rockford, IL, James Harp and wife Linda of Cambridge, IL;
sisters Muriel Morris and husband Michael of San Antonia, TX, Carol
Forbeck and husband Gerald of Tiskilwa, IL, Linda Jessen of
Davenport, IA and Kathy Piper of Davenport, IA; grandchildren
Braydon, Bailey, Rylee, Trinity, Zoie, Jamison, and Corbin all of
Vandalia, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Verna.
