Dennis E. Pryor, 79, of Vandalia, IL, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Vandalia Healthcare & Senior Living.

Dennis Eugene Pryor was born on November 08, 1946 in Vandalia, IL, the son of Floyd Norman and Mildred A. (Kersten) Pryor. He married Rose Mary Durbin; she preceded in death on December 13, 2017. Dennis was a proud Veteran having served in the United States Navy. Following his service, he became a truck driver and member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, working for various companies throughout the years.
He is survived by his son, Andy Pryor and wife Leslie; sister, Jan Gillan and husband Joe; grandchildren, Alexis, Brianna, Keegan, Carter, Colin; extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife; and daughter, Marcia Barrish.
