Donna Smail's Obituary
Donna Jane Smail, 63, of Vandalia passed away at 4:00am,
Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Vandalia Rehabilitation & Health
Care Center.
Services for Miss Smail will be held at 11:00am, Monday,
November 11, 2013 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Vandalia with
Pastor Peter Kolb and Pastor Jerry Bagwell officiating. A
visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm, Sunday, November 10,
2013 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Vandalia and 1 hour prior to
services Monday. Memorials may be made to Fayco Enterprises, Inc in
Vandalia.
Donna was born on June 15, 1950, the daughter of John and Doris
(Rubin) Smail.
She is survived by her brother Carroll Smail and his wife Carol
Ann of Moweaqua; sisters Sheila her and husband Tom Hensley of
Texarkana, TX and Betty and her husband Haldon Warner of Vandalia;
nephews Brian Hensley and wife Azalea of Texarkana, TX, Jason
Warner and wife Dana of Vandalia, Eric Warner of Vandalia; nieces
Melissa Otwell of Texarkana, TX, Amy and husband Steve Coody of
Vandalia, Andrea and husband Matt Hart of Washington, IL, Katrina
Smail of Mt. Zion; great nephew Hayden Otwell; great nieces Kiara
and Selena Smail, Makayla Hensley, Holland Hensley, Emma, Hannah
and Isabel Warner, Carly Coody, and Zoey Warner.
She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew Wesley
Smail.
