Dorothy Wyant's Obituary
Dorothy A. Wyant, 89, passed away at 5:50pm, Friday, April 4,
2014 at her home in Vandalia.
Services will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at
Temple Baptist Church in Vandalia with Rev. Joe Lawson
officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00pm,
Monday, April 7, 2014 at Temple Baptist Church in Vandalia and 1
hour prior to services at the church Tuesday. Burial will be
in McInturff Cemetery, Hagarstown. Memorials may be made to

Dorothy was born February 9, 1925 in Tower Hill, IL, daughter of
Lawrence Aubrey and Mamie Ellen (Roberts) Perkins. She
married Herschel H. Wyant on January 27, 1942 in Vandalia; she was
a homemaker and a member of the Country Echoes Music Club for 40
years.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter Tena (Wyant) Bone and
brother Lawrence Perkins and wife Linda of Warsaw,IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons Charles
Wyant and Joe Wyant; brothers Harold Perkins and Thomas Perkins;
sister Doris Elam.
