Edwin "Ed" Adermann's Obituary
Patricia S. Reavis, 81, of Vandalia, died at 8:41 a.m. on
Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care in
Vandalia.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1,
at Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia, with the Rev. Pete LeDuc
officiating. Memorials: Alzheimer's Association.
Mrs. Reavis was born on Jan. 29, 1932, in Decatur, the daughter of
Herman "Pop" and Anna Mitchell Sears. She was the former
owner/operator of Reavis Skateland; a former clerk for Isbell
Jewelry; former checker at the Vandalia Kroger. She was
affiliated with Crown Point Church of Vandalia.
Survivors include sons, Jay "Butch" Reavis and his wife Sharon
of Vandalia, Terry Reavis and his wife Julie of Ridgeway, and James
Reavis and his wife Andrea of Flora; grandchildren Shannon and
husband Jeremy Gelsinger, Jadi and husband Terry Monroe, David and
wife Carlin, Danielle Reavis, and Lindsey and husband Chase
Billingsley; and 11 great grandchildren.
