Ellen Alderson's Obituary
Ellen E Alderson, 81, of Vandalia, passed away at 9:50PM,
Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Fayette County Hospital LTC.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on
Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Elmwood Cemetery, Greenview, IL with the
Bishop Tom Suey officiating.
Ellen Alderson was born March 14, 1934, in Lincoln, IL, the
daughter of Arthur Brake and Ruth Austin Brake.
She is survived by son Roy and wife LaVonda Nichols, Vandalia;
daughter Debra and husband Kirk Woods, Pana; daughter, Brenda
Nichols, Vandalia; sons Richard Nichols, David Nichols, Danny
Nichols and Mike Nichols, all of Decatur, 13 grandchildren and 13
great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one
sister.
