Evelyn Dorretta Nalley, 94, of Vandalia, IL passed away at 3:15 PM, Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Fayette County Hospital.
A Graveside Service and Interment will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Farmers Cemetery, Shobonier. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
Mrs. Nalley was born on June 09, 1926 in Wayne City, IL, the daughter of Fred and Gussie (Anderson) Harrolle. She married James B. Nalley on April 01, 1951 in Rockford, IL; he preceded in death on November 23, 1980.
Evelyn retired from Crane Packing in Vandalia, where she worked as an inspector. She was affiliated with the Pentecostal faith and was a member of both the First Pentecostal Church of Vandalia and the First Apostolic United Pentecostal Church of Ramsey.
She is survived by her son, Albert Freed of Pensacola, FL; brother, Norval Fay Harrolle of Vandalia; granddaughter and caretaker, Debbie Drummer of Ramsey; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Jimmie Harrolle; great-grandson, Jason Busker; and siblings, Normal Harrolle, Dale Harrolle, Olaf Harrolle, Verla Medearis, Fred Harrolle, Ila Baker, Eleanor Bundy, Doris Grehling, Flora Freed, and Edsil Harrolle.
