Everett Jarrett's Obituary
Everett R. Jarrett, 80, of Vandalia, passed away at 9:15am,
Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Marion VA Hospital in Marion,
IL.
A memorial service for Mr. Jarrett will be held at 10:30am,
Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Hohlt & File Funeral Home,
Vandalia, with the Rev. Joe Lawson officiating. A visitation
will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Vandalia American Legion Post #95.
Mr. Jarrett was born June 19, 1932 iin Vandalia, IL the son of
Thomas and Cora (Richards) Jarrett. He is a United States
Army Veteran and fought during the Korean War. He was a
member of the Vandalia Crawford-Hale American Legion Post #95 and
the Vandalia VFW #3862.
He is survived by his daughter Kim Stone of Taylorville and
sister Romalee Engle of Brownstown.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Tom Jarrett,
and sister Nina Ray.
