Frank Whipple's Obituary
Frank Whipple, 86, of Shobonier, IL passed away at 1:49 PM, Monday, August 17, 2020 at Vandalia Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
A Graveside Service and Interment will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Farmers Cemetery, Shobonier with Rev. Pete LeDuc officiating. Memorials may be made to Hohlt & File Funeral Home to help with expenses.
Mr. Whipple was born on July 21, 1934 in Ringwood, IL, the son of Oscar and Nora (Collins) Whipple. Frank was a self-employed plumber in which he cleaned septic tanks for several years. Frank was affiliated with the Baptist faith. He had an avid love for singing, playing his guitar, and of course playing slot machines.
He is survived by his brother, Lonnie Whipple and wife, Mary of Shobonier; sisters, Betty Blake of Ponchatoula, LA and Ollie Fulcher of Dawson Springs, KY; three special nieces; a special nephew; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Dolly Fulcher and Mamie Whipple; and brothers-in-law, James Fulcher, LW Blake, and Walter Fulcher.
