Franklin Winslow Lay, 71, of Pana, IL, passed away at 11:25 PM, Friday, November 04, 2022 at his home.
Per the family’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services held at this time. Interment will take place in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, rural Ramsey, IL, at a later date. Franklin Winslow Lay was born on February 16, 1951 in Vandalia, IL, the son of Carl Edward and Margaret Mabel (Davidson) Lay. Frank was a United States Navy Veteran and a Registered Nurse; retiring after 20+ years of employment.
Mr. Lay is survived by his son, Benjamin Edward Lay and fiancé Lutricia; daughter, Elizabeth Lay; brother, Elvin Lay; sisters, Teresa and husband Mike Phelps, Janet Galimba, and Donna and husband Mike Collins.
Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Carl Edward “Eddie” Lay Jr. and Mark Gregory “Greg” Lay.
