Gary Roberts' Obituary
Gary W. Roberts, 62, of Vandalia passed away at his home at
11:15pm, Monday, March 31, 2014.
No services are planned at this time. Memorials may be
made to the family of Gary Roberts and will be accepted by Hohlt
& File Funeral Home of Vandalia.
Gary was born October 10, 1951, the son of Donald W. Roberts and
Doris I. (Benefield) Knotts. Gary worked at ADM in Decatur;
he was a deputy at the Franklin, KY Jail, and also worked
construction; he was enlisted in the US Marine Corps from
1968-1970.
Gary is survived by his wife Mary Lou Roberts of Vandalia;
daughters Jamie Roberts and Mellinda Roberts both of Decatur; step
daughter Tonya Kiser and husband Paul of Tennessee; sisters Diane
and husband Randy Sarchet of Greenville and Lori Evans of Texas;
and his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
