To me, she is Aunt Gev, a giving, gracious special lady with high moral standards and Christian values which she shared and modeled daily throughout her lifetime. An avid reader, Aunt Gev instilled the value of literature in me when I was but a toddler and encouraged my sisters and me to enjoy and appreciate the world of the printed page; one famous book in her library is the Holy Bible which she used as her daily road map. Talented in the art of confections, Aunt Gev, an earth angel, made, for many years, elegant, creamy, delicate candies which she, a kind, loving soul, boxed and either mailed or delivered to shut-ins, residents of nursing homes or assisted living facilities, family, and friends. A positive influence on my life, Aunt Gev , enthusiastic, effervescent, warm-hearted, afforded my sisters and me the glorious opportunity to experience the aesthetics of the realm of shopping. What inspires me and provides strength at this time of our grieving is the comfort of knowing that Aunt Gev, my dear aunt, resides in Heaven with the Lord, our Savior. Fond memories of our time together with Aunt Gev I treasure and cherish in my heart.
