Gladys Meador's Obituary
Gladys M. Meador, 88, of Vandalia passed away at 9:10 AM,
Monday, November 19, 2012 at Fayette County Hospital.
Services for Mrs. Meador will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday,
November 21, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Vandalia with Rev.
Robert Weaver officiating. Visitation will be held from 9-11
am, Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at First Baptist Church of
Vandalia. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church
Building Fund.
Mrs. Meador was born May 21, 1924 in Brownstown, the daughter of
Clarence and Amy (Brugger) Buchholz. She married Donald
Meador July 26, 1947 in Mayfield, KY, he preceded her in death on
January 7, 1984. Mrs. Meador was a homemaker and a
secretary for a law office.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Meador of Vandalia and her
brother William Buchholz of Vandalia and nephews and nieces. She is
preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Harold Buchholz,
and sisters Agnes Commiskey and Violet Oberlink.
