Glenn Pugh's Obituary
Glenn Harold Pugh, 82, Farmersburg, Indiana, went to be with our Lord on 1/31/2024 with family by his side.
Glenn was born in 1941 in rural Farmersburg, Indiana, son of Damon Pugh and Doris Pugh of Sullivan County. His loving wife Carol A. Curry Pugh preceded him on March 27, 2012. He is survived by their two daughters, Allison R. Frakes (William), of Vandalia, Illinois and Dana L. Reid (Ronald), of Peoria, AZ. They have three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Glenn was a proud member of the Army and served this great country with honor. His faith saw him through difficulties in life such as losing his beloved wife after 50 wonderful years together. He made sure his children had the same firm foundation of faith in the Lord.
He was employed by the Alcan Aluminum company throughout his married life and was fortunate to retire from this company. His work there combined his talents for statistics and using computer technology to create efficiencies. In his free time at home, he loved spending time with his girls and grandkids, whether it was camping, cooking out by the fire or just playing softball; those times were precious. He was beloved by his daughters and extended family.
Family is invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering at Irons Golf Simulator and Axes (618-699- 4061), 2525 Veterans Avenue, Vandalia, IL 62471 on March 21, 2024 @ 5:00 pm. We welcome you to come to share your fondest memories or funny stories.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Bond County Hospice, 503 South Prairie Street, Greenville, IL 62246. Online Condolences & Obituaries available at www.hohltandfilefh.com
