Iris Kay Hawkey's Obituary
Iris Kay Hawkey, 66, of Shobonier, IL, passed away at 8:00pm,
Sunday, September 29, 2013 at her home in Shobonier.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later
date. Memorials may be made to the family of Iris Kay
Hawkey.
Iris Kay was born October 7, 1946 in Centralia, IL, the daughter
of Virgil "Butch" Flanagan and Ruby (Robinett) Braddy.
She is a member of The Lighthouse Church of
Shobonier.
Mrs. Hawkey is survived by daughters Debbie and husband Don
Adams of West Frankfort, Deana "Poke" Erwin of West Frankfort;
brother John Braddy and wife Cheryl of Caseyville; sisters Nancy
and husband Gus Crenshaw of Salem, Charlotte and husband Luke Burns
of Collinsville, Karen "Tom" Page of Centralia, Betsi Foutch of
Centralia, Julie and husband Wade Tippit of Centralia, and
Jane Braddy, Centralia; grandchildren Ashley Adams and Jake Minton,
Donald Adams, Lacey Adams, Kayla Flanagan and fiancé Steven
Whitney, Kelsey Cook and husband Logan, Christopher Flanagan, Casen
Flanagan and Lexie Flanagan; great grandchildren Stormie Minton,
Calee Minton, Zoey Cook, Maykia Flanagan, Cassidy Flanagan, and
Chloe Flanagan.
She was preceded in death by parents, daughter DeeDee
Hawkey, and granddaughter Karley Flanagan
