Growing up, Aunt Jane shared her creativity and thoughtfulness through every handmade gift she gave. I hold such fond memories of the hours of play and imagination her creations inspired—they were among my most treasured childhood keepsakes, each one carrying her love and care.
When I moved to the St. Louis area in 2010, she made the effort to visit, giving me the chance to get to know her in a new way. As an adult, woman to woman, she supported my creativity with genuine interest and kindness, always cheering me on and collecting my art. Those gestures remain close to my heart.
Aunt Jane leaves a legacy of love, creativity, and clarity—a reminder that art and intellect, heart and mind, can coexist beautifully. Her inspiration continues to touch all of us through her warmth, kindness, and generous spirit. You will always be near in my heart, Aunt Jane. Steve and Karin, I am so sorry for your loss and hold you both in compassion and love.
