Jared H. Kerr, 36, of Vandalia, IL, passed away June 28, 2023 in St. Louis, MO.
Per the family’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Jared Heath Kerr was born on August 17, 1986 in McAlester, OK, the son of Bruce L. and Shelly Y. (Coffman) Kerr. Jared worked various jobs over the years. He was most recently employed by Jack Flash and Vanseal Corporation, both in Vandalia.
Jared had an adventurous soul; he loved working on bikes and vehicles, listening to music, and playing the guitar; especially in the band “Munj” with his friends. Most of all, he cherished the time spent with his son, Jayd; they loved riding bikes and playing the PlayStation together.
He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Shelly Kerr; son, Jayd Kerr; brothers, Sam Kerr and Seth Kerr; Jayd’s mother, Breanna Schwager; all of Vandalia; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Samuel and Virginia Kerr.
