Jeana D. Siebert, 80, of Vandalia, IL, passed away at 10:16 AM, Sunday, January 30, 2022 at her home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 07, 2022 at Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Vandalia with Rev. Bruce Sasse officiating. Interment will follow at Noffsinger Cemetery, Pleasant Mound. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to services at the funeral home from 10:00 AM- 11:00 AM, Monday, February 07, 2022. Mrs. Siebert was born on June 20, 1941 in Yuma, AZ, the daughter of Donald and Elta (Durr) Freeman. She married Norman F. Siebert on July 30, 1959; together with this union they celebrated 62 years of marriage before his passing on November 14, 2021.
Jeana had various jobs throughout the years. She worked at Witte Hardware, Illinois Bell Telephone Company, and PN Hirsch where she was employed for 10 years before retiring. She was also a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Vandalia.
She is survived by sons, Michael “Brent” Siebert and Brad Siebert and wife Irene, both of Vandalia; daughter, Brenda and husband Steve Gard of Fort Wayne, IN; sisters-in-law, Erma Freeman of Pittsburg and Sally and husband Mick Broaddus of Raymond; grandchildren, Trent Gard of Fort Wayne, IN, Taryn and husband Neil Beauchot of Fort Wayne, IN, Niki and husband Bryan Glidden of Vandalia, Jake Hathaway of Kansas City, MO and Dalton Hathaway of Vandalia; great-grandchildren, Peyton Glidden, Colby Glidden, and Mayla Beauchot.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Marvin Freeman; and sister, Patricia Snow.
