Jerry L. Eyman Sr., 63, of Brownstown, IL, passed away Thursday, August 08, 2024 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Fayette County Hospital LTC.
Per Jerry’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A Graveside Service & Inurnment will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 16, 2024 at Taylor Cemetery, Pittsburg, IL. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the Mulberry Grove FFA. Online condolences can be expressed at www.hohltandfilefh.com.
Jerry Leon Eyman Sr. was born on September 15, 1960 in Vandalia, IL, the son of Elbert Ernest and Mary Lavon (Peddicord) Eyman. Jerry was a farm mechanic for Midwest Tractor Sales in Vandalia. Being a mechanic was his pride and joy, even in his spare time you could find him wrenching on tractors and occasionally taking the time to go fishing.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Eyman of Centralia; son, Jerry Eyman Jr. of Brownstown; son, Jason Eyman and wife Rachel of Queen Creek, AZ; siblings, Karen and husband Rex Royer of Patoka, Dean Eyman of Brownstown, Diane Rosenberger of Ramsey, Lavonna and husband Jim Daniels of Keyesport, Danny Eyman of Ramsey, Rick Eyman and wife Dita of Vernon, Mike Eyman and wife Stella of Ramsey, Sherri Oldham of Ramsey, Jane and husband David Linville of Ramsey; and four grandchildren, Shelby Gelsinger, Cody Gelsinger, Cora Eyman, and Indie Eyman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wesley Eyman; and sister Judy Wilkerson.
