Joe Wyant's Obituary
Joe L. Wyant, 61, of Vandalia, died on Monday, March 4,
2013, at his home.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at Temple
Baptist Church in Vandalia, with the Rev. Joe Lawson and Paul Smith
officiating. Burial will be in McInturff Cemetery in Hagarstown.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the
church. Memorials: American
Heart Association , American
Lung Association or donor's choice.
Mr. Wyant was born on Dec. 14, 1951, in Vandalia, the son
of Harm "Herschel" and Dorothy Perkins Wyant. He was a civil
process server for the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, and a
member of the Illinois Sheriff's Association, Gatch Lake
Sportsman's Club and Chuckwagon Round Table.
He is survived by his mother and a sister, Tena Bone of
Vandalia.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Charles
Wyant.
