John "Johnny" Dunn's Obituary
John Edward Dunn, "Johnny" as he was called, 86, of Vandalia,
died April 27, 2012.  He was born in rural Fayette County on
June 25, 1925 to the late John William "Bill" Dunn and the late
Anna Belle Dunn (nee Thomas). On January 1, 1950 he married Jean
Rohde, who survives.  He is also survived by one daughter,
Linda and husband Victor Keller of rural Farina and by two sons,
Robert and wife Sandra Dunn of Highland, and David Dunn of
Vandalia, nine grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. 
He was preceded in death by son Michael Edward Dunn, granddaughter
Brandy Dunn, brothers Melvin Dunn and his wife Elaine, Lloyd Dunn,
and sister Doris Dunn. 
Johnny retired from Brockway of Vandalia in 1988, but he worked
hard at many jobs throughout the country all of his life. 
Most importantly, he was a friend to all and he never knew a
stranger. 
Private family services will be held at a later time. 
Interment will be at Noffsinger Cemetery, Tamalco, IL.
