John A. “Turbo” Feltner, 38, of St. Elmo, IL, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at his home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, April 18, 2026 at the First United Methodist Church, Vandalia with Pastor Curtis Flake officiating. Interment will follow in Glendale Cemetery, Fillmore. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Saturday, at the church. Memorials may be made to to the Family of John A. John Allen Feltner was born on July 16, 1987, in Waukegan, Illinois, to John William and Patricia Diane (Feltner) Struble. He married Dana Morgan Alexander on July 12, 2014, and they shared a marriage of 11 years.
Turbo was currently employed as a welder at CSX Transportation and previously worked at Lanracorp, Inc. for a decade. He was a dedicated son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, with family always his top priority. Known for his quirky and lively personality, Turbo brought humor and joy to those around him. He was approachable, never met a stranger, and was eager to help others. His passions included outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, camping, and building projects. He especially enjoyed caring for his chickens. An avid fan of demolition derbies and stock car racing, Turbo actively participated in many events, reflecting his love for motorsports and outdoor recreation.
He will forever be remembered by his parents, John and Patricia Struble of Brownstown; wife, Dana Feltner of St. Elmo; daughter, Macie Nicole Feltner of St. Elmo; son, Mason Elie Feltner of Brownstown; daughter, Haelyn Ranah Feltner of St. Elmo; siblings, Tiffany Struble, Lance Struble and wife Monica, Ryan Struble, Josh Struble, Jason Struble, Holly Struble with Hunter Buff, and Hope Struble; grandfather, Charles Feltner and wife Judy; grandmother, Patsy Zapata with Javier; father-in-law, Kurtis Alexander and wife Kathy; mother-in-law, Teresa Alexander with Dennis Brewer; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Preceding him in death were his son, Paxtyn Mykel Feltner; brother, Charles Feltner; and grandmother, Connie Feltner.
