Leonora "Lee" Hartwick's Obituary
Mrs. Lee Hartwick, 90, of Cincinnati, OH formerly of Vandalia,
IL passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014.
A graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00pm,
Sunday, December 21, 2014 at McInturff Cemetery, Hagarstown, IL
with Pastor Krista Stokke officiating. Visitation will be
held from 1:30-2:30pm, Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Hohlt &
File Funeral Home, Vandalia. Memorials may be made to the
Alzheimer's Association.
Leonora E. Hartwick was born October 29, 1924 in Vandalia, the
daughter of Martin J. and Hazel M. (Rolinson) Enck. She
graduated from Vandalia High School and attended nursing school in
East St. Louis, MO. Lee worked for Dr. Mark Greer and for
Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia. She married Harold D.
Hartwick on April 7, 1945 in Vandalia and together they had four
children. He preceded her in death April 9, 1992. Lee
was a member of St. James Evangelical Church of Vandalia.
She is survived by son Wayde Hartwick and wife Barbara of West
Chester, OH; daughters Becky and husband John Leckrone of Salem, SC
and Judi Washburn of Tampa, FL; grandchildren Sean Leckrone and
wife Kathy, Darci and husband Brad Galvin, Tim Hartwick, Anna
Hartwick, Rachel Hartwick, Bret Yunker and fiancé Kelly, Bart
Yunker, and Ali Washburn; and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter
Debbie Yunker.
